1. INFORMATION ABOUT THE ORGANIZER
The tour operator is:
MAONA d.o.o.

6330 Piran,
Slovenia
(hereinafter referred to as: the organizer)
These General Terms and Conditions are an integral part of all contracts, registration forms, offers, and travel itineraries organized by MAONA d.o.o.
2. REGISTRATION FOR THE TRIP
You can register for the trip in person, by email, through the website, or by another agreed-upon method.
By registering and paying the deposit or the full amount, the traveler confirms that he or she is familiar with the travel itinerary and these general terms and conditions.
3. TRIP PRICE
The price includes the services listed in the itinerary.
Unless otherwise specified, the price does not include:
- tourist taxes,
- tips,
- personal expenses,
- additional excursions,
- insurance policies.
The organizer reserves the right to change the price due to:
- changes in fuel prices,
- changes in exchange rates,
- changes in taxes or fees.
4. PAYMENT
Upon registration, a deposit in the amount specified in the program must be paid.
The balance must be paid no later than the deadline specified in the offer or contract.
If payment is not made within the prescribed time limit, the passenger shall be deemed to have withdrawn from the contract.
5. CANCELLATION OF THE TRIP BY THE PASSENGER
A passenger may cancel the trip in writing at any time.
The organizer is entitled to reimbursement of expenses:
- up to 45 days before departure: 10% of the package price,
- 44–30 days: 25%,
- 29–15 days: 50%,
- 14–8 days: 80%,
- 7 days or less: 100%.
If the actual costs are higher, the organizer may charge the actual costs incurred.
6. CANCELLATION OF THE TRIP BY THE ORGANIZER
The organizer may cancel the trip:
- if the minimum number of passengers is not reached,
- due to circumstances beyond our control,
- due to unforeseeable extraordinary circumstances.
In this case, all payments received will be refunded to the passenger.
7. CHANGES TO THE PROGRAM
The organizer reserves the right to make changes:
- the order of the tours,
- schedules,
- means of transportation,
- accommodation of the same or a higher category,
- individual program components.
Changes are possible due to traffic, weather, safety, or other objective reasons.
8. MINIMUM NUMBER OF PASSENGERS
Unless otherwise specified in the program, the trip will take place once the minimum number of registered participants has been reached.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the organizer will notify the registered passengers in a timely manner.
9. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
The passenger is responsible for:
- a valid personal identification document,
- visas,
- medical certificates,
- meeting the entry requirements for individual countries.
The organizer is not liable for any consequences resulting from inadequate documentation.
10. PASSENGER’S HEALTH CONDITION
The traveler must notify the organizer in advance of any health limitations or special needs that could affect the program.
11. ORGANIZER’S LIABILITY
The organizer is responsible for providing the services specified in the contract.
Not responsible for:
- passenger behavior,
- loss of personal luggage,
- delays by airlines, bus companies, or shipping lines,
- consequences of force majeure,
- weather conditions,
- strikes or other unforeseeable events.
12. CULTURAL AND PROFESSIONAL TRIPS
During cultural, educational, and professional trips, the order of visits may change due to the operating hours of museums, churches, exhibitions, local events, or other circumstances.
The organizer strives to provide all the content listed in the program, or appropriate alternative content.
13. PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO RECORDING
During the programs, the organizer may take photos or record group activities for promotional purposes.
Before the program begins, an individual may inform the organizer that they do not wish to be photographed.
14. COMPLAINTS
Passengers must report any irregularities immediately on the spot.
A written complaint may be filed no later than two months after the end of the trip.
The organizer will handle the complaint in accordance with applicable law.
15. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
MAONA d.o.o. processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR and applicable Slovenian law.
The data is used exclusively for the provision of tourism services, compliance with legal obligations, and communication with customers.
16. INSOLVENCY OF THE ORGANIZER
In accordance with applicable law, the organizer has arrangements in place to provide protection in the event of insolvency.
Information regarding insurance or insolvency protection is available upon the traveler’s request or is published on the organizer’s website.
17. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
The parties will endeavor to resolve any disputes by mutual agreement.
For disputes that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, the court with subject-matter jurisdiction in the Republic of Slovenia shall have jurisdiction.
18. FINAL PROVISIONS
These General Terms and Conditions are effective as of the date of their publication on the MAONA d.o.o. website.
